Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer season came to a close on Wednesday, as they lost 2-1 to the National Championship host Tyler Junior College. 

Jason Dyer put the Lakers up 1-0 in the first half from a long ball delivered to him by Lewis Nohar but the Lakers failed to hold on to their lead as Tyler equalized with less than a minute left in the first half. Iowa Lakes played hard and fought bravely through the second half and into the first period of overtime but conceded a sudden-death goal off of a long throw-in in the second period of overtime. 

The Lakers finish their season with an overall record of 18-4-1 and having won the Midwest Region Title.
