Lakers Take 2 out of 3

The Lakers went on the road over the weekend, playing Scott Community College on Saturday and Southeastern on Sunday. The Lakers scored twelve goals against Scott while conceding only one. Jason Dyer got his hat trick, while Keishon Clarke made his debut with two goals and four assists. Things didn't go quite as planned at Southeastern, where harsh circumstances saw them to a 2-1 defeat. The Lakers bounced back on Tuesday with a 3-0 victory over NIACC. Goals from Lewis Nohar, Philmour Virgo, and Lemoud Ogiste claimed the comfortable win for Iowa Lakes. Goalkeeper Taariq Ganga looked in great form, recording the shutout while having a fantastic performance building attacks.

The Lakers have a week off before facing Northeast CC on Wednesday, September 14th, in Norfolk, NE.
