GK's Shine in 0-0 Draw at Indian Hills game Dedicated to Ethan Claridge

Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer visted Indian Hills on Saturday, coming out of the high intensity bout 0-0. Francis Motsi had the best chance in the first half, cutting in on the right side of the box to offset his defender and then cut back out to have the near-post shot, only to have it denied by a fine save from the Warirors keeper.

Most of the action happened in the last five minutes of the game, where each team were awarded a penalty. Both keepers came up huge, saving their penalties and keeping the clean sheet for their team.

The Laker's Men's Soccer team dedicated this match to sophomore goalkeeper Ethan Claridge, who had his season cut short at Iowa Lakes, due to a broken wrist he suffered during the warm-up for the game against Iowa Central.

The Lakers are now 5-1-1 on the season and face Southeastern next, in what will be their first official conference math-up of the season. The game is scheduled to be played at home in Spencer, IA at 3:30pm CST, on Saturday, September 16th.
