Just minutes later, center-back Matheus Loreto found the back of the net from the pass by Jeppe Toft-Hansen for his fifth goal of the season and third goal against NIACC.

The Lakers then came out in the second half hungry for more. Gabriel Miranda got on the scoresheet himself from the assist of Garbhan Feeney in the 53rd minute. Then, freshman forward Ahmed Dosso came on the field as a substitute and made an immediate impact, scoring a goal in the 80th minute from the assist of Iowa boy Ian Campbell. Ian then got his second assist of his game, setting up Keishon Clarke in the 86th minute for a fantastic finish to make it 6-0.
