Morris Duggan was selected by Minneapolis United FC in the third round of the 2024 MLS Super Draft, becoming the first Iowa Lakes Men's Soccer player to be drafted by an MLS team. Duggan was a standout student-athlete at Iowa Lakes who played an integral part in The Lakers winning the 2021 Midwest District Championship and booking their ticket to the National Championship Tournament. Morris had offers from many universities upon completing his degree at Iowa Lakes but ultimately committed to Marshall University to continue his collegiate career. Morris captained the Marshall side in his senior year, starting every game for the consistently ranked #1 NCAA DI side.
