Laker Swimmers Have Big Day 2 at Nationals

Day two at nationals was full of success at six of eight performances landed in the top eight.  Juliana Villa Rodriguez and Jacob Bohnert both placed in the top eight with lifetime best times in the 50 backstroke and 200 freestyle events with Juliana finishing 5th in the 50 back and 6th in the 200 free and Jacob finishing 7th in the 50 back and 6th in the 200 free.  Juliana and Jacob also both led off a pair of relays with lifetime best times.  Juliana swam a 24.85 to start the 200 free relay and 1:00.19 backstroke leg on the 400 medley relay.  Jacob led off the men's relays with splits of 21.32 and 54.48.   Gabriela Reis and Liz Crewe-Brown finished 6th and 8th, respectively, in the 400 IM.  Gaby earned a lifetime best in the prelims and Liz had her best in finals.
