Laker Men Sign Hehr and Voller for Fall 2019

Ben Hehr from Mason City, Iowa and Patrick Voller from Omaha, Nebraska, have signed Letters of Intent to study and swim at Iowa Lakes Community College.  Both Hehr and Voller are coming off successful high school seasons culminating in state meet participation.  Hehr is a freestyler and IM'er with best times of 2:04.74 in the 200 IM and 5:02.86 in the 500 free.  Voller is a freestyler and backstroker with best times of 48.65 in the 100 free, 1:48.40 in the 200 free and 56.18 in the 100 back.  Hehr and Voller both have fast sprint free relay splits.  Head Coach Todd Peters is excited about the addition of both swimmers, "Our number one goal is to make our relays faster and give us more options.  Ben and Patrick are talented in many areas and they will give us flexibility on relays and make us a more competitive dual meet team.  We have a few more swimmers we expect to sign in the coming weeks.  Our men's team will be very strong next year."
