Iowa Lakes Community College Youth Softball Camp

IOWA LAKES COMMUNITY COLLEGE YOUTH SOFTBALL CAMP

Iowa Lakes Community College announced today that the Iowa Lakes Softball team will host a youth softball camp on Saturday, October 6, 2018. The camp will be held at the Iowa Lakes softball field, located on the corner of 18th St. and 7th Ave, on the Estherville Campus.

This year's camp is open to grades K-6 and will run from 10 am to 12 pm. The cost to attend is $25, and each participant will receive a souvenir of an Iowa Lakes Softball cup.

The Iowa Lakes youth softball camp provides young players with the opportunity to be exposed to college level training. This year's camp is hosted by the Iowa Lakes Softball players and coaches with the goal of expanding the knowledge of softball to younger generations of athletes.

Participants will have the opportunity to focus on the proper mechanics of the game including sessions on throwing, hitting, fielding, and base running.
