Iowa Lakes Softball Brooklyn Bode Named ICCAC Athlete of the Week

(Estherville, Iowa) Iowa Lakes Softball Brooklyn Bode Named ICCAC Athlete of the Week.

Division II Softball – Player

Brooklyn Bode – Iowa Lakes – Freshman – Center Field

Sophomore Brooklyn Bode reached base 10 times in her 18 at-bats last week. Bode hit .555 (10-18) with a total of six RBI, six runs scored, six stolen bases, two triples, and one home run. She reached via a hit in every possible way which included a single, double, triple, and home run. Bode produced all of these numbers from the nine spots in the lineup. In the first game against Southeast, she was a perfect 4-4 with three runs scored, two runs batted in, one double, one home run, one walk, and two stolen bases.

The Lakers are currently 6-2.

The Lakers return to action March 7th at the Spring Games in Clermont, Florida. The Lakers take on Jackson College on March 7th at 9:00am and Triton College at 11:15am.

The Lakers first home games are Saturday, April 6th vs Iowa Central at 1:00pm & 3:00pm.
