(Emmetsburg, Iowa) The Iowa Lakes Sports Shooting Team comprised of 4 women and 6 men will be competing at the ACUI/SCTP Nationals in San Antonio, TX this week.

There will be 1100 student athletes from 109 colleges, a near record, shooting in 2024.

In Division #4, the Community College/Trade School division, there are 16 teams. Of the 16 teams in Division #4,  7 teams shoot in the ICCAC Sport Shooting League.

The Lakers had a 3-2 record in the 2023 ICCAC fall league and had 3 shooters receive All-Conference Honorable Mention.

The Lakers will be competing in the 100 bird 16 yard singles event and the 50 pair doubles event. They are scheduled to shoot the 16 yard event at noon and the doubles event at 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 21.
