In week #5 of the ICCAC virtual trap league, Hawkeye Community College defeated Iowa Lakes by a score of 476x500 to 466x500. The Lakers fall to 2-3 in team shoots this season. The top five shooters for Iowa Lakes were: Kolby Kendall 98, Kadin Oettinger 95, Timothy Konfrst 94, Levin Aanonson 91 and Araina Umscheid 88.

Kolby Kendall won the men's gold medal with a score of 98x100. In the women's division Ariana Umscheid finished 4th place with a score of 88x100. The 466x500 score was the best team score for the Lakers this season. Timothy Konfrst and Kolby Kendall both had perfect 25x25 rounds during the shoot, while Kadin Oettinger and Kolby Kendall both had perfect rounds of 50x50. 

"We have been improving every week out. We will be ready to compete against Northwest Iowa and Ellsworth to finish the fall season," said Coach Kalsow.
