Iowa Lakes Sports Shooting Team picks up 2nd straight home win

On Sept. 18, 2021 at their home club near Cylinder, IA the Iowa Lakes  Sports Shooting Team improved to 2 wins with only 1 loss in week 3 of the ICCAC Trap shooting conference. The Lakers shot 456x500 for the win to 139x200 for Northeast Iowa that only had 2 shooters.

The Lakers top 5 shooters were: Keegan Oettinger 95, Carter Leiding 92, Logan Studer 90, Joshua Lauck 90, and Aaron Olson 89.

 

In the individual men's division, Keegan won the gold medal with 95, Carter took the silver medal with 92 and Logan Studer by reverse run over Joshua Lauck brought home the bronze medal after they tied with 90.

 

In the individual women's division, Gracie Ziemer shot 87 for the gold medal and Maddy Derochie took the silver medal with 80.

 

Carter Leiding and Keegan Oettinger both had perfect 25x25s and Logan Studer broke  the last 2 traps for a perfect 50x50.

 

Next Saturday, Sept. 25, the Lakers travel to Omaha, NE to the Harry Koch Gun Club to compete against Iowa Western. The action starts at 11:00 am.
