Iowa Western, the defending ACUI National Champion, broke 494x500 to get the win over Iowa Lakes 442x500. The top five shooters for the Iowa Lakes were Aaron Olson 92, Tim Konfrst 90, Jack Stockdale 90, Maddy Derochie 86, and Logan Studer 84. Aaron Olson had a perfect 25x25 on the first trap.

In the women's individual competition Maddy Derochie took 3rd place with 86x100 and a reverse run of 13.

The loss drops the Lakers to 2 wins and 2 losses in the ICCAC Sports Shooting Trap League.

Next Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, the Lakers are on the road to compete in a triangular meet with Hawkeye CC, and Northwest Iowa. The meet will be held at the Stockdale Gun Club in Ackley, IA starting at 11:00 am.
