The Iowa Lakes Sport Shooting Team broke 464x500 but came up short of NICC's 486x500 and Hawkeye CC's 492x500 in an  ICCAC league triangular trap shoot at the Stockdale Gun Club on Oct. 2, 2021. The top 5 Lakers were comprised of Keegan Oettinger 94, Jaron Cooper 94, Carter Leiding 93, Josh Lauck 92, and Maddy Derochie 91.

In the men's individual match vs. Hawkeye CC both Keegan Oettinger and Jaron Cooper were 4 targets out of the silver medal with 94x100. In the women's individual match vs. Hawkeye CC Maddy Derochie was 3 targets out the bronze medal with her 91x100.

In the men's individual match vs. NICC both Keegan Oettinger and Jaron Cooper were 4 targets out of the gold medal. In the women's individual match vs. NICC Maddy Derochie took the gold medal with her 91 and Gracie Ziemer took the silver medal with 79x100.

Both Keegan Oettinger and Josh Lauck had perfect 25x25s, Maddy Derochie had her personal best registered trap score of 91x100, and novice shooter Noah Vandeventer shot 45x50 on his last two traps.

The Sports Shooting Team has a bye next weekend and finishes the fall season at home vs. Ellsworth CC on Saturday, Oct.16 starting at 11:00 am.
