Iowa Lakes broke 455x500 targets to tie for 9th place with SWCC. The Laker team was comprised of Keegan Oettinger 97, Jaron Cooper 94, Logan Studer 93, Joshua Lauck 89, and Maddy Derochie 82. Aaron Olson also had 82.
In category 1(First year shooters at Nationals) in very windy conditions Keegan Oettinger's 97x100 placed 26th out of 434.
The 2022 ACUI Collegiate Nationals saw a record number of 1,200 athletes from 105 teams compete. Iowa Lakes is in Division 4 (Community Colleges and Trade Schools) plus any 4 year colleges that are competing in the ACUI Nationals for the first time.
Division 4 had 18 teams compete in American Trap, and 7 of the top 10 American Trap teams were from Iowa (4 Community Colleges from the ICCAC and three 4 year colleges).
