Iowa Western, the 2022 ACUI Community College National Champion, shot 481x500 to defeat Iowa Lakes who had 470x500. The top 5 shooters for Iowa Lakes were Chase Young 96, Cameron Fick 94, Mackenzie Schnetzer 94, Keegan Oettinger 93, and Maddy Derochie 93.

In the individual men's competition, Chase Young took the silver medal with his 96x100. In the individual women's competition Mackenzie Schnetzer took the silver medal with her 94x100 and Maddy Derochie took the bronze medal with her 93x100.

The Sports Shooting Team's next competition is away vs NCC in Rock Valley, IA on Saturday, September 17, 2022 starting at 10:00 am.  

Coach Kalsow said " I was happy to see our young team with 14 freshmen out of a total roster of 20 get 3 of the 6 individual medals against a very good Iowa Western team.
