Iowa Lakes' record in the Western Division of the ICCAC fell to 2 wins and 2 losses on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022. When the smoke cleared, a very experienced Iowa Central trap team out-shot Iowa Lakes, 482 to 449. The top 5 shooters for Iowa Lakes were as follows: Mackenzie Schnetzer, 92; Wyatt Schwenker, 91; Keegan Oettinger, 90; Aaron Olson, 89; and Maddy Derochie, 87.

In the individual women's competition, last week's ICCAC Women's Sports Shooting Athlete of the week, Mackenzie Schnetzer won the gold medal with 92x100.

Gusty winds made the targets jump and dive, but Gracie Ziemer and Keegan Oettinger both had perfect 25x25's for Iowa Lakes.

This was the last home shoot for the 2022 fall season.  Iowa Lakes still has an away shoot vs SWCC scheduled for 10/29/22 and the SCTP/DNR State Collegiate Championship on 11/12/22 in Waukee, IA.
