The Lakers drop one to North Platte 78-87.
The Lakers were led by Mia Wassink's double double with 37 points, 13 rebounds, and 11-12 from the FT line. Lemia Ntor-Ue added 11 points and 7 rebounds.
"I liked our energy and effort today. I was extremely proud of Mia Wassink's performance today. I thought she established her presence on the low block and rebounded the ball really well. She did a great job of being a vocal leader on the floor as well. I look for us to build off of this weekend and continue to improve. It is early in the season and we are embracing the process of improving every day" commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 1-2 on the season and 0-0 in conference play. The Lakers return to home on Tuesday, November 14th when they take on Northwestern JV at 5:30pm.
