The Lakers drop one on the road at Iowa Central 59-63. The Lakers were led by Shai'anye Wesley with 16 points and Lemia Ntor-ue with 15 points and 8 rebounds.

 "We were not ready to go from the whistle tonight and it hurt us. We had to dig ourselves out of a deep whole tonight. I thought we competed and picked up our intensity in the 2nd half. I hope we can learn from tonight and continue to improve. It takes 40 minutes to win games in our league," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.

The Lakers are 6-12 on the season and 1-3 in conference play. The Lakers return home on Saturday, January 27th when they host Ellsworth at 1:00pm.
