The Lakers drop one on the road today at Southeastern 64-68. The Lakers were led by Marissa Ruiz with 16 points, Lemia Ntor-Ue with 11 points, and Mia Wassink with 10 points.
"Hard loss for the Lakers today. I thought our team played hard and did a lot of nice things. We struggled to key stops at key times that really hurt us. I am proud of our kids effort today. I love coaching this group. We will continue to get better," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 7-14 on the season and 2-5 in conference play. The Lakers return home on Wednesday, February 7th when they host Little Priest Tribal College at 5:30pm.
