The Lakers win at home over Little Priest Tribal College 65-49. The Lakers had 4 players in double digits tonight. The Lakers were led by Mia Wassink with 19 points, Marissa Ruiz with 17 points, Lemia Ntor-Ue with 12 points, and Calynn Jackson with 10 points.
"A good team win today. The girls persevered and played hard until the end. I saw a lot of improvement today. I thought we had better energy in the 3rd quarter and we showed we can play through the tough times. I thought our defense was really good tonight. I am so happy for our girls. They continue to fight and improve every day. I love coaching this group," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 8-14 on the season and 2-5 in conference play. The Lakers return home on Saturday, February 10th when they host Southwestern at 1:00pm.
