Team effort propels Iowa Lakes past DMACC

A great team effort propels Iowa Lakes past DMACC 69-55. The Lakers had 4 players in double digits tonight. The Lakers were led by Mia Wassink with 15 points, Lemia Ntor-Ue with 14 points, Calynn Jackson with 11 points, and Marisela Perez with 10 points.

 "I am so happy for our team. I thought the team was very focused tonight and played with a lot of energy. Our effort on the defensive end really set the tone for the game. We had a very balanced scoring attack and shared the ball. Really proud of our effort. The kids continue to improve," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.

The Lakers are 11-14 on the season and 4-5 in conference play. The Lakers return to action on Saturday, February 17th when they travel to Cedar Rapids, IA to take on Kirkwood at 1:00pm. The Lakers return home on Wednesday, February 21st when they host Iowa Central at 5:30pm.
