The Lakers come up short at Kirkwood falling 44-59. The Lakers were led by Lemia Ntor-Ue with 13 points, Calynn Jackson, Mia Wassink, and Marissa Ruiz each chipped in 8 points.
"I thought our team competed hard for 40 minutes against a very good Kirkwood team. I thought we guarded very well today. I am happy to see this team continue to improve," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 11-15 on the season and 4-6 in conference play. The Lakers return home on Wednesday, February 21st when they host Iowa Central at 5:30pm.
