The Lakers win big at home over Iowa Central 74-46. The Lakers were led by Marissa Ruiz with 18 points, Mia Wassink with 17 points, Marisela Perez with 11 points, and Lemia Ntor-Ue with 10 points.
"Incredible team effort tonight. Our kids were locked in from the whistle and competed for 40 minutes. We guarded extremely well and we were able to get out in transition. So happy for our players. They have worked really hard to get to this point. Excited to see us continue to improve," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 12-15 on the season and 5-6 in conference play. The Lakers are back in action on Saturday, February 24 when they travel to Iowa Falls to take on Ellsworth at 1:00pm.
