The Lakers fall to NIACC 95-72. The Lakers were led by Mia Wassink with 30 points including 14-16 from the free throw line, Marissa Ruiz with 17 points, and Lemia Ntor-Ue with 10 points.
"Tough night for the Lakers. We struggled early against their press. I thought we bounced back in the 2nd half and competed. We will bounce back. Need to regroup and continue to improve for our last regular season game against Southeastern," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 13-16 on the season and 6-7 in conference play. The Lakers are back in action on Saturday, March 3rd when they host Southeastern at 1:00pm. We will also honor our sophomores before the game.
