The Lakers fall in overtime on the road in the 1st round of the regional tournament to Iowa Central 74-79. The Lakers were led by Marissa Ruiz with 20 points shooting 5-7 from behind the arc, Lemia Ntor-Ue with 13 points, Mia Wassink with 12 points, and Marisela Perez with 11 points.
"It's hard to see this season come to an end. This group of kids have been an incredible group to coach. I am forever thankful for the opportunity to coach this group. The kids competed hard tonight and left it all out on the floor. I couldn't be more proud of them," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers finish the season 13-18 and 6-8 in conference play.
