Iowa Lakes Community College Head Women's Basketball Coach Ashley Martin announced the signing of Nadiya Briggs, a 5'10" forward from Milwaukee, Wi.
"Excited to add Nadiya to our women's basketball family. Nadiya will give us added depth in the low post. She is a great kid with a high motor. Excited to see her continue to grow her game at Iowa Lakes," said Coach Martin.
Nadiya averaged 11 points per game and averaged 10 rebounds her senior season for Golda Meir High School. Nadiya earned 2nd Team All-Conference Honors her junior season and 1st Team All-Conference Honors her senior year.
"I chose Iowa Lakes not just because of the reasonable cost, but because I feel like it's home away from home," said Nadiya Briggs. "The people there are very nice and out of all my offers I know for sure I will be taken care of."
