The Lakers win big at home over Dordt JV 100-58. The Lakers were led by Breanna Wendland with 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists, Sam Hagedorn added 20 points, Shareece Smith 11points, and Shanice Vaughn 10 points.
"So proud of our team tonight. It was a team effort from everyone. I thought we played really hard and shared the ball. We were able to get out in transition and run. We are showing signs of improvement each day," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 1-1 on the season and 0-0 in conference play. The Lakers return to action this weekend as they travel to Norfolk, Ne to play two games. The Lakers face Mount Marty JV at 2pm on Friday, November 9th and Northeast at 4:00pm on Saturday, November 10th. The Lakers return home on Wednesday, November 14th when they host Minnesota West at 5:30pm.
