"This is a very good win for our program. Northeast is a very good program and very well coached team. It is always good for your program to beat a Division I Juco and our kids did that today. They battled from the beginning whistle and never gave up. I thought our kids followed the game plan and were locked in. One of the keys to the game was to outrebound them and our kids attacked the glass. So proud of this team and excited to see us continue to improve. They are trusting the process right now," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.

The Lakers are 3-1 on the season and 0-0 in conference play. The Lakers return home for two straight home games on Wednesday, November 14th when they host Minnesota West at 5:30pm and Saturday, November 17th when they host Grandview JV at 1:00pm.
