The Lakers top Minnesota West 69-52. The Lakers were led 20 points from Breanna Wendland. Samantha Hagedorn added 15 points and Shanice Vaughn added 10 points.
The Lakers led 27-12 after the first quarter, 39-29 at halftime and 50-46 at the end of the third quarter.
"Proud of our team tonight. On a night when we didn't shoot it great our team found a way. Sometimes you will have nights like that and I thought our kids battled and fought through it. Our defense continues to improve," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 4-1 on the season and 0-0 in conference play. The Lakers return home on Saturday, November 17th when they host Grandview JV at 1:00pm.
