The Lakers top Buena Vista JV 83-45. The Lakers were led by Shareece Smith with 20 points, Sassy Coleman added 15 points, Shanice Vaughn added 12 points, and Breanna Wendland added 10 points.
"Very good team win tonight. We are a little rusty after break but are getting back. We need to continue to improve on the defensive end," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 13-2 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. The Lakers return to action Wednesday, January 9th as they travel to Des Moines, IA to take on Grandview JV at 7:00pm. They return to conference play Saturday, January 12th when they travel to Boone, IA to take on DMACC at 1:00pm.
