Iowa Lakes faced off with Northeast Community College on Friday night and fell 38-64.
The Lakers were led by sophomore Breanna Wendland with 11 points.
The Lakers took on Cloud County on Saturday and fell 69-72. The Lakers were led by Breanna Wendland with 23 point and Tyler Pacheco who added 13 points.
"Was a tough weekend for the Lakers. Overall we are improving and saw some good things this weekend. We are learning how physical we have to play. Proud of how our kids fought back against Cloud County and I think that will help us later in the season," commented Coach Martin.
The Lakers are 1-2 on the season and 0-0 in conference play. The Lakers return to action this Tuesday when they travel to St. Paul, MN to take on St. Kate's JV at 7pm. The Lakers next home game is Wednesday, November 20th when they host Gustavus JV at 5:30pm.
