The Lakers topped St. Kate's JV 65-47. The Lakers were led by sophomore Breanna Wendland with 17 points and Safiyer Coleman with 12 points.
"Our team showed a lot of improvement tonight. I thought we really shared the ball on the offensive end and got the ball moving. Defensively we continue to improve. We need to continue to improve everday," commented Coach Martin.
The Lakers are 2-2 on the season and 0-0 in conference play. The Lakers return to action this Friday and Saturday when they travel to Marshalltown to take on Central CC out of Columbus, NE at 1:00pm on Friday, November 15th and Marshalltown on Saturday at 5:00pm. The Lakers next home game is Wednesday, November 20th when they host Gustavus JV at 5:30pm.
