The Iowa Lakes Women's Basketball team defeated Northwestern JV The Lakers were led by Breanna Wendland with 32 points, Shareece Smith with 18 points, and Shanice Vaughn with 12 points.
"We played 3 good quarters today. We are continuing to learn how to put together 4 good quarters," commented Coach Martin.
The Lakers are 7-2 on the season and 0-0 in conference play. The Lakers return to action this weekend November 30th when they travel to Mason City to play in a classic. Saturday, November 30th the Lakers will take on Central CC at 4pm. The Lakers will take on Grandview JV at 11am on Sunday, December 1st. The Lakers return home on Wednesday, December 4th for their first conference game of the year against Iowa Central at 5:30pm.
