Hailey Miranda to Play for the Lakers

Iowa Lakes Community College announced the signing of Hailey Miranda of Milwaukee, WI.

Miranda earned first team all-conference honors at Ronald Regan High School in Milwaukee, WI.  She became the first player in school history to reach 1,000 career points. During her senior year she averaged 14 points a game and shot 82% from the free throw line.

"One of the reasons I chose Iowa Lakes is because of the warm, welcoming atmosphere. I feel like I can be an intricate part of the women's basketball program.  Coach Martin and the admissions staff made me feel right at home," commented Miranda.

"Hailey is a long guard that can really shoot it. She will stretch the defense and give us a strong offensive presence. Her length will really help us on the defensive end. Hailey is a quality person and student athlete. She will be a great addition to our women's basketball family and college," commented Head Women's Basketball Coach Ashley Martin.
