Iowa Lakes Community College announced the signing of Jaeda Whitner of Mason City, IA.

Whitner averaged 10.6 points per game her senior year. She shot 36% from the 3 point line and 80% from the free throw line. Whitner earned CIML honorable mention all-conference honors. She was also a member of the National Honor Society at Mason City High School.

"I chose Iowa Lakes because Coach Martin and the admissions staff were very nice and made me feel welcomed and at home. I also felt like I could get better and excel with the women's basketball program," commented Whitner.

"Really excited to add Jaeda to our program. She is going to be a great leader. Her vision of the floor and ability to share and create for others will really help us. Jaeda can also really score the basketball. I love her passion and love for the game," commented Head Women's Basketball Coach Ashley Martin.
