The Lakers get the 85-48 win over Southeastern in their home opener. The Lakers were led by local standout Madison Hough with 25 points. It was a very balanced scoring attack as we had 4 players in double digits. Jaeda Whitner added 17 points, Rachel Breck added 13 points, and Andrea Vazquez added 12 points.
"So proud of our team today. I thought they played with a lot of energy and continue to improve everyday. Excited to continue our journey together," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 1-1 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. The Lakers return to action on Wednesday, January 27th when they host Division I Northeast Community College out of Norfolk, NE at 5:30pm.
