The Lakers earn a gritty win on the road against Southeastern 55-49. The Lakers were led by Rachel Puok who recorded a double double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.  Jaeda Whitner added 12 points and 4 assists. Madison Hough and Tianna Powell both added 8 points a piece. 

"Proud of the team today for getting a tough win on the road. On a day when we weren't shooting it well, our team found a way and showed a lot of heart down the stretch. We are learning how to win close games and make plays down the stretch. Excited to get back to work and continue to improve," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.

The Lakers are 3-3 on the season and 3-3 in conference play. The Lakers return to action on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 when they travel to Iowa Falls, IA to take on Ellsworth at 5:30pm.
