Iowa Lakes (13-6, 7-2 ICCAC) earned a convincing 73-50 win over Northeast. The Lakers were led by Rachel Puok and Jaeda Whitner with 15 points a piece. Puok recorded a double double with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Rachel Breck added 13 points and 3 rebounds.

Northeast was led by Ashley Hassett with 24 points.

"I thought the team came out focused and ready to play. I was proud of how we moved forward from a tough loss with Southeastern. This team continues to improve. We are working on putting together 40 minutes of solid play," commented Coach Martin

The Lakers are 13-6 on the season and 7-2 in conference play. The Lakers are back in action on Thursday, January 20^th as they travel to Council Bluffs, IA to take on Iowa Western CC at 5:30pm. The Lakers return to play at home on Monday, January 24^th as they host Iowa Western CC at 5:30pm. The Lakers also host Ellsworth CC on Wednesday, January 26^th at 5:30pm.
