The Lakers defeated Iowa Central 69-63. The Lakers were led by Jaeda Whitner with 18 points. Brielle Bartelt added 15 points. Rachel Puok and Jasmine Jones each added 10 points.
Iowa Central was led by Carley West with 16 points.
"Really good win on the road. Girls played with a lot of energy tonight. Thought our team guarded really hard and rebounded well," commented Coach Martin
The Lakers are 18-10 on the season and 12-6 in conference play. The Lakers return to play at home on Saturday, February 19th vs Marshalltown at 1:00pm. We will honor our sophomores before the game vs Marshalltown.
