The Iowa Lakes Women's Basketball team defeated Marshalltown 97-39.
The Lakers had a very balanced scoring attack with 6 players in double digits. The Lakers were led by Ihari Oromo with a double double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Brielle Bartelt added 20 points, Makayla Holton and Emma Kanz both added 12 points. Anisah Wolf added 11 points, and Vantaya Johnson added 10 points.
The Lakers are 7-5 on the season and 2-0 in conference play. The Lakers travel to Boone, IA to take on DMACC on Saturday, December 10th at 1:00pm. The Lakers return to play at home on Wednesday, December 14 at 5:30pm vs Northeast.
