The Iowa Lakes Women's Basketball team defeated NIACC on the road 53-48.
The Lakers were led by Brielle Bartelt with 22 points, Ihari Oromo added 9 points and 8 rebounds.
"Great team win on the road tonight against a really good NIACC team. I thought our kids showed a lot of fight and toughness. Excited to keep working," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 10-8 on the season and 4-3 in conference play. The Lakers return to action January 21st as they travel to Kirkwood, IA to take on #3 Kirkwood at 1:00pm. The Lakers return to play at home on Wednesday, January 25 at 5:30pm vs Ellsworth.
