The Iowa Lakes Women's Basketball team defeated Ellsworth 84-52.

The Lakers had five in double digits. The Lakers were led by Ihari Oromo with a double double with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Anisah Wolf added 17 points and 8 rebounds. Emma Kanz added 16 points and 9 rebounds. Brielle Bartelt and Makayla Holton added 12 points a piece.

The Lakers are 11-9 on the season and 5-4 in conference play.  The Lakers return to action on Saturday, January 28^th as they take on #13 Lake Land CC out of Matoon, IL at 1:00pm at Indian Hills CC in Ottumwa, IA. The Lakers will continue the weekend series on Sunday, January 29^th vs William Penn JV in Oskaloosa, IA at 12:00pm. The Lakers return to play at home on Wednesday, February 8^th at 5:30pm vs NIACC.
