The Lakers extend their winning streak to six games defeating DMACC 64-56.
The Lakers were led by Brielle Bartelt with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals. Makayla Holton added 16 points and 4 steals.
"Such a fun day for our team. I thought our kids defended at a really high level and rebounded the ball. This was a fun college basketball game; two really good teams. Excited for this team to keep improving," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 16-9 on the season and 8-4 in conference play. The Lakers travel to Norfolk, NE on Wednesday, February 15th when they take on Northeast at 5:30pm. The Lakers return to play at home on Saturday, February 18th at 1:00pm vs Iowa Central.
