The Lakers extend their winning streak to 8 games by defeating Iowa Central 67-40.
The Lakers were led by Brielle Bartelt with 22 points, Ihari Oromo added 13 points, and Emma Kanz added 12 points.
"Proud of girls and their focus right now. This group has really come together and are fighting and competing as one right now. It has been fun to see their growth and improvement. Excited to keep working," commented Head Coach Ashley Martin.
The Lakers are 18-9 on the season and 10-4 in conference play. The Lakers return to play at home on Saturday, February 25th at 1:00pm vs Kirkwood and will celebrate our sophomores Brielle Bartelt, Ihari Oromo, and Aza Swayzer.
