It was a great atomsphere in the Laker gym with two of the top teams in the country squaring off. With each team winning 5 matches it came down to bonus points allowing the Lakers to come out on top. Getting those big bonus points was Christian Dulaney at 197 lbs winning by techincal fall and giving his team 2 extra team points.

"The guys battled hard.  It was a back and forth dual against two teams tied for 3rd in the National rankings so it was to be expected.  We learend a lot about ourselves tonight and some things we really need to clean up as we enter the 2nd half of the season.  We lost some matches tonight we are capable of winning.  A great thing about our conference is every night you compete you wrestle great competiton and it exploits the things you need to work on," Coach Alesch.
