The Laker wrestling team moved to 4-0 after defeating #11 NIACC. Coach Cody Alesch was happy with the way his team applied the concepts they have been working on in practice into competition when he said "We spent a lot of time in practice working on top, attacking wrists, and going after back points. Bonus points make a big difference in a close dual, and with National Duals right around the corner, it's encouraging to see the guys hungry for pins." The Lakers were propelled to victory by pins from Anthony Fisher, Bumni Smith, and Brady Brott. Isaiah Cox who is currently ranked #2 in the country had a hard fought victory over #4 Jaylen Lee 5-3.
