The Laker wrestling team is currently ranked #8 in NCJAA in intermatwrestle.com's latest polls.  Returning All-American Isaiah Cox earned a #2 ranking at 184. Freshman Jordin James makes his debut in the ranking at #4 at 133. Freshman Bunmi Smith maintained his #5 spot at 165. While freshman Anthony Fisher is ranked #7 at 141 and David Hollingsworth III is ranked #8 at 149. The Laker wrestlers take the mat again at home versus #12 Iowa Western on Wednesday January 17th at 7 pm and then conclude their dual season on January 26th at  #13 NIACC.
