After going 4-0 and winning the Adidas Auggie Open hosted by Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN freshman Matthew Jordan has been named ICCAC Wrestler of the week. This comes to no surprise to Coach Alesch as he had this to say about Matt " Since the day Matt stepped on campus it was clear that he had lofty goals and was willing to put in the time and make sacrifices to obtain those goals. Matt is not only excelling on the mat but he is also taking care of business in the classroom. Anybody who is around Matt can tell that he is focused and attacks each day with a purpose."
The Lakers return to action December 4th when they travel to Iowa Falls to wrestle Ellsworth The Lakers next home game is Wednesday, January 14th when they host NIACC at 6:00 pm at Spirit Lake High School.
