The Lakers competed in a tough tournament at Augsberg in Minneapolis this weekend. The wrestlers improved on their past performances with a 2nd place finish by Aiden Crawley and five 6th place finishes. Head coach Corey Meyer had this to say about the weekend:

"Every time we compete at this stage of the season we are looking for feedback. We want to know where our opportunities to grow. We also want to see if what we've been emphasizing in practice has been working and if we're trending in the right direction. This weekend we were able to see both of those things. It's really exciting to see the growth we've made in such a short amount of time, and it excites me to think about where we can be. It's also exciting to see guys get their first college wins as well as others place for the first time."
